"Synchronicity is the conscious perception in a physiological time track of the simultaneous manifestation of the multi-dimensional universe. It is the conscious recognition that all events, objects, relationships, points of view, perceptions and interactions are ONE thing viewed from different perspectives. Synchronicity is also a reflection of what you believe reality to be. Synchronicity, relative to reality, IS what reality IS, and it is the WAY it is."
Everything that happens around us is really all one, just viewed from different perspectives. My art is a reflection of what I believe reality to be, that all interactions and events in life have synchronicity and are connected. Composition and the way we see things has a lot to do with the synchronicity of the moment. Working with many designers over the years, I learned that flow, movement and composition of all entities captured in that moment, play an integral part in conveying the synchronicity. My visual capturing career began with motion picture, shooting super 8mm movies and editing. It was then I realized that what compelled me the most was not the overall story told by a film of length, but the moment in time caught by a still image. So I purchased a Nikkormat 35mm camera and enrolled in photography school in NYC. I ventured west to San Francisco in 1972 and began my career in corporate photography. For the last twelve years, I've been working for the US Dept. of Energy as the senior staff photographer at Lawrence Berkeley Nat'l Lab. I am available for free-lance assignments and the majority of my images are available for purchase in print form. Please go to the contact link to send me an e-mail.
